Mike Weinberg is a Contributing Editor for Transmission Digest and Gears Magazines (professional  industry monthly trade publications.

He  teaches seminars on rebuilding techniques to the transmission industry and is an active consultant to the major transmission, clutch, and auto manufacturers.

Mike edits numerous training manuals for automotive vocational schools and has served as an expert witness for major auto makers in transmission related litigation.

Mike is an internationally accredited expert on transmission, 4WD transfer case, and differential repair, vehicle dynamics, and driveline development.
Mike has a long and successful career as a professional race driver. Starting out racing Midgets, he has competed in Dragsters, Funny Cars, Stock Cars, Formula Cars, and is currently competing in the Grand American Race Series which is the road racing division of NASCAR.
